Southeastern Tornado Relief Effort

The Southeastern Tornado Relief effort has a collection point at 4005 Earnings 
Way, New Albany, Indiana (corner of Hausfeldt Lane and Earnings Way).   The 
items listed below will be collected, packaged and shipped to a distribution 
point in Alabama to assist with victims of the tornadoes that struck the region.

The collection center will be open from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday 
May 9, 2011 to May 12, 2011 and Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 
p.m.  

ONLY NEW ITEMS CAN BE ACCEPTED.  PER THE COLLECTION TEAM'S REQUEST - PLEASE, IF 
POSSIBLE SORT YOUR DONATIONS INTO THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.

Cleaning supplies: mops, brooms, trash bags, bleach, soaps, paper towels, etc.
Toiletries: soap, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, tooth brushes, 
tooth paste, and combs / brushes.
Baby supplies: formula, formula bottles, diapers and baby wipes.
Non-perishable food supplies: bottled water, canned goods, boxed cereals, peanut 
butter and breakfast foods.
Pet supplies: canned / bagged dog and cat food.
Comfort: sheets, pillows, towels and blankets.

Note: Hausfeldt Lane is closed from Grant Line Road to the railroad tracks for 
construction.  Please plan alternate route to the collection point.
