The Floyd County Sheriff's Department along with the National Sheriff's Association has rescheduled the WMD/All Hazard Community Partnership Training.   This was originally scheduled in September but we had to postpone the training due to the wind storm caused by Hurricane Ike.    
 
The training date is now December 6, 2008 (Saturday) from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Scribner Middle School in New Albany, IN.     Please share this with the homeowner's of Highland Oaks.    
 
This training is free to all attendees.    Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost!    
 
This is an invaluable training event and it helps the community prepare for emergency crisis.   The community did witness the recent destruction of property in Floyd County due to the wind storm caused by Hurricane Ike and the training you will receive on December 6, 2008 will help you prepare and react to disasters in our community.
